2009 Speaker and Program
Dr. Dan Mouw, Assistant Director of Baptist World Missionary Outreach, will be the Bible Teacher during Family Week 2009. Dan has served in a variety of missionary roles including ten years in Panama and seven years in Japan. He will be laying aside the missions focus to teach a series of messages on family relationships. Dan and his wife, Mary, are the parents of five children.
Fuad Shorrosh will minister during the Missions Hour. Fuad is a Palestinian national who ministers in the United States. He will be sharing his interesting perspective on the Israeli/Arab conflict during the 10:00 AM sessions.
The Children’s Program, held during each adult session, will be a team effort lead by Miss Heather Youmans, a former camper and summer worker at Camp Nathanael and now a missionary appointee to Guam. In addition to her teaching sessions other staff will provide craft, hiking and recreational times for the children, ages 5-12 years old. A nursery (ages 4 years and under) is also provided during each adult meeting.
