Family Week
2008 Speaker and Program
The Bible teacher will be Dr. Harold Kime, Professor of Bible at Lancaster Bible College (PA). Harold and his wife, Beth, were a part of family week several years ago and now return to again share the truth of God’s Word.
Mr. Dave Tucker, serving with SEND International, will challenge us in missions each day, particularly focusing on his experiences in the countries of the former Soviet Union. Dave and Kathy have also shared in Family Week a few years ago. We are looking forward to both of these couples returning to be with us.
The Children’s Program, held during each adult session, will be a team effort lead by Miss Joanna Gerhardt, a veteran BCM Ministries missionary who serves alongside Camp Nathanael in eastern Kentucky. In addition to her teaching sessions other staff will provide craft, hiking and recreational times for the children, ages 5-12 years old. A nursery (ages 4 years and under) is also provided during each adult meeting.
A highlight of this year’s week will be a special flag salute presented by a color guard detachment from the Marine Reserves unit based in Lexington, KY, which will take place on July 4th.
